Askari is a fully crewed luxury yacht currently chartering in French Polynesia

Taking her name from the Swahili word meaning "guard" or "protector", Askari has explored some of the most remote corners of the world and is as equally at home in a busy port as she is at anchor off of a beautiful island beach. A world of discovery and adventure awaits aboard Askari.

Askari has called French Polynesia her home for the past 12 years. When not on charter, she can be found at anchor under the impressive mountains of Moorea, her Society Island base.

For exploring, the Society Islands boast incredible scenery and idyllic anchorages with a varied option of activities for the benefit of charter guests. A typical two week charter would begin on the island of Tahiti and finish in Bora Bora.

As well as diving and cruising, guests can participate in land tours to visit vanilla plantations and pearl farms, witness a fantastic dance show or dine ashore at a superb resort. Askari spends several months each year in the Tuamotus where scuba diving, surfing and kitesurfing are very popular charter activities.

The Tuamotu region features hundreds of pristine coral rings that are spread over a vast area of tropical latitudes. Charter guests return year after year to repeat the experience of visiting these places aboard Askari. Extremely clear visibility and amazing wildlife are the drawcards for scuba enthusiasts and consistent ground swells keep the waves rolling in for the surfers.

Steady trade winds and calm lagoon waters make this region an unsurpassed destination for kitesurfing adventures. With an outstanding Captain and crew, guests can relax and enjoy every available pleasure from water sports and outdoor activities to sightseeing and shopping for exotic treasures.

The thrill of visiting some of the most "hidden away" islands of the South Pacific is one to be savored along with exploring the under water world of the Tuamotu, hiking and horseriding in the scenic mountains of the Marquesas, swimming with whales in the Australs or trading for black pearls in the Gambier.

Or perhaps you would prefer to enjoy the comfort that Askari has to offer by simply just relaxing onboard.
